Hello everyone, I am Su Kyi. I live in So Taw Village, Myay Yint Village Tract, in the southern part of Myaing Township. I am twenty-six years old. When I was five, I was very eager to go to school, so I started earlier than others. The school enrolled children at age six.
I still remember my mother used to help us wearing Thanaka until we were ten. We did not know how to beautify ourselves, or what beauty meant for these new generations. I graduated from Pakokku University, in Myanmar, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently, I am helping build a school fence in coordination with ActionAid Myanmar. My community is also involved in contributing to this process.
I am working as an intern in ActionAid Myanmar. In the future, I want to be a business woman. I have a plan, I wish to take a leading role in my village, as my community cannot access a lot of things, so I would like to cooperate with different stakeholders for my community.
